A top exec leaves role as liaison between Ford Motor and its dealers


Ford Motor Company notified its employees Tuesday that Matt VanDyke, an executive at the automaker for 14 years, leaves this 7 days to become president of a electronic firm with clients in Europe and throughout North The united states.

VanDyke, 49, explained to his team that his past day at Ford would be Friday. 

He departs as CEO of FordDirect following being named to the posture in January 2021. In that position, he was a crucial “liaison” in between Ford and its franchise dealers, in accordance to a FordDirect news launch at the time. 

Matt VanDyke leaves Ford Motor Co. as CEO of FordDirect to take a job as president of Shift Digital in June 2022.
