ST. LOUIS — Two people have died after a car crashed into the entrance of a Schnucks grocery store in south St. Louis Friday afternoon, according to authorities. Both people were inside the vehicle during the incident.
Emergency crews responded to the store located at 1020 Loughborough Drive around 3:00 p.m. FOX 2’s Bommarito Automotive Group SkyFOX flew over the scene, capturing footage of the vehicle flipped on its side.

Schnucks said no employees or customers inside the store were injured. The store remained open but asked customers to use another entrance.
One customer who was at the scene of the crash said it was “heartbreaking.”
“It’s really sad and heartbreaking,” said customer Ebony Nickels. “That was someone’s family in that car. My heart really goes out to whoever was in that car.”
