Mr. D’s Auto Wash, 1300 W. Sixth St., held a benefit event for Ukraine on Saturday. All proceeds from car washes at the event are going to support Ukraine, which was violently invaded by Russia’s military last month. The car wash proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Poland, which has mobile units and refugee support for Ukrainian families.
The Dobski family, which owns the car wash as well as a local McDonald’s franchise, has said it would match the amount raised from this event.
